PM27T0 - 440 Cars

Andy Posluszny - T code 440
Friendswood, Texas

Andy's Web Page

Andy's Fury is almost identical to mine and is the second one I've found with a factory 440. Andy's car also has Automatic Temperature Control A/C which sure would be nice to have in mine! Andy's Fury is definitely not a trailer queen, it gets driven regularly and it even makes a few drag night appearances at the Houston strip - does rather well with a best time of 15.709 @ 87.25 mph on Mar 26, 99

Brian Ober - T code 440
Lititz, Pennsylvania

"As far as I know, this car is all original. 440 with 727 transmission. A/C. Power windows. Disc brakes. Road wheels." - Brian sent me a bunch of pictures, click on his Fury to see them.

Unknown Owner - T code 440

The car appeared on eBay twice, Nov 2002 and Dec 2002. The first time the price reached $6,000 but didn't meet the reserve. I'm not sure what the result was the second time it was listed. The seller stated that the engine was a newly rebuilt Super Commando, which if true means the car is no longer numbers matching. Hopefully he just had the factory engine rebuilt and called it a Super Commando to generate some bids. If anyone recognizes this car let me know where it is and who owns it. This is the only 70 Fury I've ever seen with B06 - Skid Control ABS brakes

Carl Dyer - T code 440

Carl contacted me in 2003 and told me he had two 70 Fury convertibles, one with a factory 440 and the other with 318. Unfortunately the 440 car was in sad shape and he gave it to a buddy. I think Carl is now trying to get it back. If anyone knows Carl or if you read this Carl, I love to find out how this turned out. Plus I'd like pictures and info on your 318 convertible.

Alex Filipiak - T code 440
Roseville, Michigan

Alex writes, "The car is in over all nice condition it has some rust and needs to be repainted. The interior is black with power bucket seats and the buddy seat. It has power locks, power windows and a power top. It has a rim blow steering wheel with tilt and cruise control. It also has an AM/FM thumb wheel radio and A/C. The interior can use some mirror work as well. It has a 440 with a 727 trans, and runs great."

PM27N0 & PM27L0 - 383 Cars

Bruce Hobson - L code 383
Syracuse , NY

Bruce writes: "The car is black with a white top and light blue interior. It's a factory bucket seat car with console and floor shifter. The HP 383 engine and 727 transmission were rebuilt and have been driven less than 20,000 miles. The engine was bored .030, has a windage tray, electronic ignition, 650 AFB Carb, B-Body HP exhaust manifolds, 450 lift Purple Shaft Cam, rare dealer option aluminum intake manifold and dual exhausts."

Antonello Jelitro - N code 383
Milano, Italy

From across the pond. Antonello saved this car from the wrecker. The car is all original, 383 N code, auto console, power windows and power bucket seats.

A very nice green convertible from Quebec with 318 and power windows.

Clones

Jack Shultz - 383 Sport Fury Clone
Enola, Pennsylvania

Jack's Web Page

Jack's page is dedicated to his now finished '70 Fury III 383 convertible - now in burnt orange. Jack does his restorations in style, he has a beautiful shop with a power lift. I was very pleased when Jack offered to sell me the dash pad from his parts donor car, thanks again Jack.

Rob Brogle - 440 GT Clone
West Springfield, Massachusetts

Rob is the 5th owner or this original 318 3 speed manual car. Owner #2 swapped in a 440-6, 4.10 sure grip, auto trans, Hurst Promatic shufter and installed a 71 Fury grill. Owner #3 and #4, swapped out the 440=6 and replaced it with a '74 440/auto. Rob has been an avid collector of Fury parts and is contantly upgrading this car to become a close as possible Fury GT clone. I'll get Rob to update his car's history.

Holger Frye - 383 Clone
Hipstedt, Germany

I first ran across this car when it was owned by Phil Como. Phil felt the restoration was just too big a job for him so he sold the car to Crossram Motors in 2002. Crossram did a full restoration, swapped in the 383 and sold the car on eBay about a year later. The next owner was John Sugar in Florida and he sold it in the spring of 2008 to Holger Frye in Germany.

More Super 70 Fury Convertible's will be added as I get photos - contact me to get your car included.
